Cool Cod Receipes

Cod recipes are delicious, healthy and an easy way to cook food. The great thing about cod fish is that you can do in a variety of ways. You can bake or roast. You can dress it up with vegetables, or you can serve the dish naked. The great thing about dishes you can take what you want and incorporate it into the bowl for a truly unique and delicious meal. You can not go wrong when it comes to making cod.
First, when choosing between recipes, you can consider your needs. Want something healthy? If so, avoid frying the fish because it is not the healthiest way to prepare the dish. Want something tasty? Consider choosing a recipe that use of a variety of vegetables and sauces. Want something simple? If so, you might consider a nude recipe that focuses on preparing cod without crew or other ingredients.
Consider also the amount of time you have to do this meal. If you are in a rush, do not enjoy or sauces to coat the fish in. know how much time you have to use cod recipes before looking for the right choice for your meal. Also consider where or not you want fresh or frozen cod.
The following is just one of many recipes cod put yourself to others. Although easy to make and inexpensive, this recipe tastes like a dish you might have a nice dinner. The recipe is simple and includes tomatoes and cheese, but otherwise relatively just bones.
First you need to know your ingredients. You will need: 1 1 / 2 pounds frozen cod fillets, 1 teaspoon butter, salt and pepper, four slices of tomatoes, Swiss cheese (as much as you'd like to fish), and 1 / 2 cup half and half.
Order cod recipe, remove the fish skin and bones. Dry fish with paper towels. The oven should be preheated to 375 degrees. Take the butter and melt it. Take your fish and cover with slices of tomato. Sprinkle on cheese as much as you want, pour the cream over the fish and add the butter in a baking dish or pan. You are now ready for your fish to fry. Cook cod for 25 minutes or until fish seem to flake.
You can also replace many of the ingredients. For example, Swiss cheese if you like, you can always go with cheddar cheese. If you hate tomatoes, you can always use green peppers instead.
